Absolutely Write
Absolutely Write monthly meetings are the 2nd Wednesday at 6:30PM at the Ogden Main Library (2464 Jefferson Avenue)
These will consist of special speakers, various programs, interviews, tours, writer improvement, etc.
Ogden Nature Center
The Ogden Nature Center’s mission is to unite people with nature and nurture appreciation and stewardship for the environment. Art projects at the Center include a summer concert series, birdhouse art competition and children’s Earth Day poster contest.
Ogden Amphitheater
The Amphitheater hosts live entertainment during good weather periods of the year and every night during December in conjunction with Christmas Village. Several concerts and concert series take place during the summer and movies are shown on Monday and Friday evenings.

Sundancing in O-town
Quickly becoming a festival favorite, Ogden’s Peery’s Egyptian Theater plays host to a wide variety of Sundance Festival Films. This year the selection included Director Rachel Perkin’s remake of Jimmy Chi’s very successful stage musical Bran Nue Dae. In her introduction to the film Perkins remarked, “recently a critic called my film, “a little cheesy” my film is not a “little cheesy” it is a double cheese whopper!”
