The Movement Coalition is a semi-professional dance company composed of Weber State University students and alumni that performs at various art festivals and shows.
Treehouse Children’s Museum provides interactive learning experiences for children through exhibits and programs that focus on family literacy, the arts and the humanities.
The Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery presents contemporary art exhibitions and educational programs that provide visitors access to the art of our times. The Shaw gallery aspires to engage a diverse audience, create a sense of community, provide insight into the creative process, and challenge visitors to contemplate, discuss and understand the historical, social, and cultural context of contemporary art.

It has been said, “Celebrate that which you wish to see more of in the world.” Held each year in October to coincide with National Arts Month, Ogden’s Mayor’s Awards in the Arts program provides the opportunity to shine the light of recognition on artists, arts advocates and organizations that have contributed in a significant way to the arts in our community.
Nominations for the 2009 Mayor’s Awards in the Arts will be accepted beginning in July. Check back at that time for a link to the nomination form.

The awards recognize the outstanding contributions of individual artists or groups of artists in eight arts disciplines: Dance, Design, Folk, Literary, Media, Music, Theater, Visual Arts and Art Advocacy.

and host receptions for the public to attend.
