The "Only In Ogden" photography exhibit was a month long installation at the Universe City Gallery in Ogden.

The Ogden Nature Center’s mission is to unite people with nature and nurture appreciation and stewardship for the environment. Art projects at the Center include a summer concert series, birdhouse art competition and children’s Earth Day poster contest.

Quickly becoming a festival favorite, Ogden’s Peery’s Egyptian Theater plays host to a wide variety of Sundance Festival Films. This year the selection included Director Rachel Perkin’s remake of Jimmy Chi’s very successful stage musical Bran Nue Dae. In her introduction to the film Perkins remarked, “recently a critic called my film, “a little cheesy” my film is not a “little cheesy” it is a double cheese whopper!”
Ogden’s Mayor’s Awards in the Arts program began with the inauguration of Mayor Matthew Godfrey in 2001.
